Jamye Harrison joins Arcadis as Global Solutions Lead - Smart Cities

Arcadis, the leading global Design & Consultancy organisation for natural and built assets, has today announced that it is pleased to welcome Jamye Harrison to its Smart Cities team as Global Solutions Lead.

Jamye has over 25 years of experience that spans strategy, public policy, design and delivery in transport, infrastructure and smart cities. He joins Arcadis from WSP, where he led the Smart Infrastructure practice, focusing on the convergence of technology, data analytics and digital operations in transport, energy, water and the built environment.

Jamye has held leadership roles in the public and private sector, including as National Lead Partner - Transport at Deloitte, and Chief Architect for Sydney’s rail operator. He is also Founder of an incubator for early stage smart city and new mobility startups, as well as being a Finalist in the Wolfson Economics Prize 2017 and Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas 2018.

Jamye has led the delivery of various inter-agency strategies for state government clients and numerous industry-wide service design and technology architectures for operational control centres, payments, public transport ticketing and energy trading. Most recently Jamye led the operational readiness review for the final commissioning of Sydney’s new Rail Operations Centre, a $300M state-of-the-art control centre.

As Global Solutions Lead for Smart Cities, Jamye will integrate Arcadis’ design, planning and digital expertise to deliver innovative solutions for building liveable, sustainable and connected places.
