Cardno takes the lead with new parental leave program

Limited has announced the introduction of an industry-leading
parental
leave program for its employees in the United States, Australia and
New Zealand from 1 July 2018.
The Australia and New Zealand program offers:
-
20 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary caregivers who have completed more than five years’ continuous service;
-
16 weeks’ leave for more than three years’ service;
-
12 weeks’ leave for more than 12 months’ service;
-
up to four weeks’ paid parental leave for secondary carers who have worked for Cardno for more than five years.
The United States program offers:

16 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary caregivers who have completed more than five years’ continuous service;
-
14 weeks’ leave for more than three years’ service;
-
12 weeks’ leave for more than 12 months’ service;
-
up to four weeks’ paid parental leave for secondary caregivers dependent upon tenure with Cardno.
Cardno Executive Chairman Michael
Alscher, welcomed the parental leave program change to Cardno’s suite of
employee health and
wellbeing benefits by saying that it will contribute
to business growth.

The Australia and New Zealand program also includes up to ten paid “keep
in touch” days and an additional five days’ personal leave for parents
with children aged five and under.
