Probuild: Two and a half years ago Probuild set
to make a quantum shift in our production outputs and waste reduction.
As part of this shift, we’ve strived to eliminate inefficient process,
optimise production speeds and reduce rework. We understand,
particularly in the
residential product line, that settlement risks and
body corporate call backs are at the highest level of concerns to our
clients, our financiers and their customers.
So in 2015, we set an ambitious target of no more than two purchaser
defects per
apartment.
Today, I am pleased to say that at the conclusion of more than 2000
apartments, handed over at our recent residential high-rise projects
Avant,
Empire
Melbourne,
Marina Tower and
Victoria One, we achieved an average purchaser defect of less than
one per apartment.
We’ve proudly achieved this through a cultural shift, supported by the
implementation of robust systems and handover processes that make up the
Probuild Construction System (PCS).
Our commitment to quality
buildings doesn’t stop when we hand them over.
We’ve been digitally tracking completion statistics for more than five
years now, which enables better customer care for apartment buyers and
real time data to feed back to our project teams, subcontractors and
design groups.
Quality
buildings don’t just happen and Probuild is on a continual mission
to achieve zero purchaser defects. We do this by getting the best out of
our supply chain to deliver and de-risk a total end-to-end solution – on
site. You can’t outsource production challenges.
