Marshall, Arup and McGregor Coxall appointed to Stage One of the Shipwreck Coast Master Plan

Arup: has been appointed to Stage One of
the
Shipwreck Coast Master Plan, with lead architect
Denton Corker
Marshall, and landscape architect, McGregor Coxall, by Parks Victoria.
The three significant projects include the construction of two new
lookouts at the Twelve Apostles and the Loch Ard Gorge Precinct, as well
as a new pedestrian
bridge in Port Campbell along Victoria’s
Great Ocean
Road.
Arup’s multidisciplinary team will bring structural, civil, traffic and
geotechnical engineering, pedestrian modelling and lighting design
services to the Shipwreck Coast Master Plan Stage One Works.
We look forward to working closely with Parks Victoria, Denton Corker
Marshall and McGregor Coxall to bring to life the first stage of this
exciting and state-significant Shipwreck Coast Master Plan for future
generations of visitors to enjoy. ”
Using
augmented reality design overlays, Arup’s team has brought a
‘digital design to manufacture’ process to the project, optimising the
vision of the Master Plan through
virtual reality to communicate the
design intent.
