Arup: has been appointed to Stage One of the Shipwreck Coast Master Plan, with lead architect Denton Corker Marshall, and landscape architect, McGregor Coxall, by Parks Victoria. The three significant projects include the construction of two new lookouts at the Twelve Apostles and the Loch Ard Gorge Precinct, as well as a new pedestrian bridge in Port Campbell along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road.

Arup’s multidisciplinary team will bring structural, civil, traffic and geotechnical engineering, pedestrian modelling and lighting design services to the Shipwreck Coast Master Plan Stage One Works.

We look forward to working closely with Parks Victoria, Denton Corker Marshall and McGregor Coxall to bring to life the first stage of this exciting and state-significant Shipwreck Coast Master Plan for future generations of visitors to enjoy. ”

Using augmented reality design overlays, Arup’s team has brought a ‘digital design to manufacture’ process to the project, optimising the vision of the Master Plan through virtual reality to communicate the design intent.
