ISPT’s National Solar
Project: a four-stage initiative
14 December 2017
ISPT: ISPT is delivering major CBD rooftop
solar photovoltaic (PV) installations in
Perth,
Melbourne and
Canberra,
in the first stage of a national solar project. Solar PV panels are
being installed on the rooftops of 13 buildings, and will deliver 13,000
sqm of rooftop solar power at nine
commercial buildings and four retail
centres by the end of 2017.
Rooftop solar installations are now complete at 100 St Georges Terrace
in Perth and at 7 London Circuit in Canberra.
The office buildings at 50 Lonsdale Street in Melbourne and
Sydney
Central at 477 Pitt Street are among the assets in stage one that will
benefit from reduced baseload
electricity consumption through access to
solar power.
Alicia Maynard, ISPT’s General Manager, Sustainability & Technical
Services, says the national solar project is the natural evolution of
ISPT’s commitment to enhance the operational and sustainable efficiency
of its buildings. “Our customers and tenants will benefit from lower
power bills and greater energy security, and for ISPT, it reduces our
impact on the environment.”
