Coffey: Urs Meyerhans has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Coffey, A Tetra Tech Company.
“This is an extremely positive move for Coffey and I’d like to congratulate Urs on his appointment” said Ron Chu Group President, Tetra Tech. “Urs is well qualified and I’m confident that he'll continue to strengthen and grow the business in the ANZ and Asia Pacific region.”
Urs brings a diverse background in the resources, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods and professional services industries, including eight years in the key roles of CFO/Finance Director and COO at Coffey. “I’m extremely excited to be leading Coffey and to use my experience to drive our strategic direction, and ultimately our growth strategy for the region.” said Urs. “Importantly, I’m committed to building on the work that Ron has done in combining the resources and skills that Tetra Tech brings with Coffey’s reputation and expertise in the region to deliver exciting opportunities for our staff and superior solutions for our clients.”
As Group President Resource Management & Energy (RME) for Tetra Tech globally, Ron retains overall responsibility for the ANZ business as part of his Tetra Tech responsibility.
Also as part of the management restructure, Stewart Phillis has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer reporting directly to Urs. Stewart joined Tetra Tech in 2011 as part of Tetra Tech’s Proteus acquisition in Western Australia.
