NDY appoints global head of Residential, Hotels and Entertainment

Sean Treweek joins Norman Disney & Young (NDY) with an international remit in the newly created role of Director – Residential, Hotels and Entertainment.

Sean joins NDY following eight years at WSP in senior roles. “I had a strong focus on management, risk and governance responsibilities there, and in joining NDY I wanted to move forward into an influential role across the whole business that allows me to relate directly to clients on projects that make a real difference to them.”

With client-centric outcomes a key component of NDY’s strategy, Sean is looking forward to the client focus of his role at NDY.

“I commenced my career at NDY and have always held the business in very high regard. As NDY continues to focus on client needs, an opportunity presented itself to drive these key markets globally, in a business with a strong cultural alignment with my own values. The focus on client relationships and stakeholder engagement is a distinguishing feature of NDY when compared to many of its larger competitors.”

Sean says there are exciting opportunities in the Residential, Hotels and Entertainment sectors, particularly as the benefits of big data and ‘the internet of things’ become increasingly apparent, with NDY ideally placed in delivering this to the market. “We are only now just scratching the surface on the potential benefit of technology and digital integration, as we seamlessly incorporate automated systems to add value to both the asset owner and occupant experience.”

Sean is based in Melbourne and reporting to Patrick Fogarty, NDY’s global head of markets.
