John Holland wins St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital contract

John Holland has been awarded the contract to redevelop the St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital, including the provision of 90 new beds and the first private hospital Emergency Department within Ipswich.
The $45m contract also includes the refurbishment of key areas within the existing hospital for Ramsay Health Care (Ramsay).
Chief Executive Officer, Joe Barr, said John Holland has industry leading expertise in the construction of health care facilities.
“John Holland has significant experience in hospital developments, including Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Lismore Base Hospital” he said.
“The provision of premium levels of service to the health sector is at the core of our vision for our business.”
Building Manager QLD/NT, Colin Matthews, said this new work represents a continuation of John Holland’s long standing relationship with Ramsay.
“We have been delivering projects for Ramsay since the early 2000s, and are pleased to be involved in the creation of this first class and highly functional medical facility, which will cater to the health care needs of one of South-East Queensland’s fastest growing regions,” he said.
Project work has commenced on site, with overall project completion scheduled for 2018.
