BMD Constructions awarded Northshore Hamilton precinct road infrastructure upgrades

BMD Constructions was recently awarded the
Northshore Hamilton precinct
road infrastructure upgrades in Hamilton,
Queensland for Economic Development Queensland.
Having almost completed works on the first stage of the upgrade,
following a competitive bid process, BMD Constructions was awarded
project 2 of the $26 million upgrade to Remora Road, Macarthur Avenue,
Hercules Street, Harbour Road, Theodore Street and Barcham Street.
The upgrades will include road widenings, resurfacing, new footpaths,
new dedicated cycle lanes, and new landscaping, ensuring safer traffic
flow and integration between vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. The
works will transform the current industrial access roads into roads that
serve the new residential, retail, commercial and recreational uses at
Northshore Hamilton.
The project will commence this month and is due to be completed by
mid-2018, weather permitting.
