Canberra office named ‘Best ACT’ firm in BRW Client Choice Awards.

Professional technical services consultancy AECOM has been recognised at the Business Review Weekly (BRW) 2014 Client Choice Awards, with its Canberra office taking out the ‘Best ACT’ firm award.

The awards recognise client service excellence and are unique in that winners are awarded on the basis of feedback provided directly and independently by clients who have used nominated firms in the last 12 months.

As independent researcher, Beaton Research Consulting provides rigour and validity that has characterised the Awards and the Beaton Benchmarks since 2005.

AECOM Canberra Manager, Andrew Springall, accepted the award at a ceremony in Sydney earlier this week, paying tribute to AECOM’s Canberra team.

“I thank our many clients in the region, for taking the time to provide feedback on our performance,” he said.

“I also want to thank our wonderful Canberra team for constantly striving to improve how we engage with, and deliver for clients. This award gives the added encouragement to continue those efforts.”

AECOM Chief Executive, Australia New Zealand, Michael Batchelor, said the award reflected AECOM’s efforts to instil a greater client focus in its operations across Australia New Zealand.

“In the current market, the value of close client relationships is being underlined,” he said.

“Our Canberra team’s award is just recognition for a team that always goes the extra mile for clients.”
